I have been adding some new vitamins into my daily regime. I have been taking Vitamin D for several months now, but decided recently to also take liquid calcium and magnesium and some fish oil capsules. It is really hard for me to spend the extra money for vitamins on myself, but I am recognizing more and more that if I don't start taking the necessary steps to build my body back up other more serious health issues are going to start developing.

One thing that has been helping me to keep taking steps to take better care of myself is to think in terms of preparing for war. I want to protect my family and see them grow in their relationship with the Lord. I want to be more effective as a Christian and make more of a difference in the Kingdom of God. I want everything in my life to glorify God. It is hard to be effective when I am struggling just to make it through a day. So, with God's help, I am back in boot camp.  I am stocking my war chest with tools that will help me fight the fight. As simple as it may sound, vitamins are now part of my war chest.  I need them right now to help make myself stronger.

"Or do you know that your body is a temple
of the Holy Spirit within you,
whom you have from God?
You are not your own,
for you were bought with a price.
So glorify God in your body. "
1 Cor 6:19-20
