I am longing for Spring. The landscape is covered in shades of brown and gray right now, and it starts to be a little bit depressing without seeing glimpses of color. I have been checking my flower beds, looking carefully for any signs of my spring bulbs poking through, but so far nothing... It's funny how the first flower or first robin of the season can encourage my heart after a long, hard Montana winter.
I'm in California and it doesn't even feel like we had winter this year. Until today! It was just in the 70's and now it might snow in a nearby town tonight. And next week - back in the 70's! Pretty nutty.
