Fall! My favorite time of the year. I love the colors. I love the brisk feeling in the air. The changes that are felt. Apples are everywhere in our area.

I used to homeschool my kids so Fall was always an exciting time in our home.  My youngest, who is 17, started his Senior year in high school a week ago, and I am really excited for him.

I am looking forward to some beautiful hikes and drives to take in the scenery. 

Last year, we had a hard freeze early in the season and the leaves didn't turn color, they just turned brown and stayed on the trees.  It looked dismal, and made for a very long winter.  I am optimistic that won't happen two years in a row.
