I have been making a really concentrated effort to take better care of myself. I am especially working on cleaning up my diet. It has been needed to say the least. I have been trying a new recipe everyday to help me incorporate greens into my diet this week. Even my 17 yo son has jumped on board and is a willing subject for my experiments. Tonight's recipe was a "green" drink. We both agreed it was the best so far. Here's to good health!
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup water
1 banana
1 tsp coconut oil (I used flax seed oil)
3 large kale leaves (I used the curly kale and removed the inner stem)
Blend everything up and enjoy!

YUM!
